JUST IN: Liverpool release a statement on Fabio Carvalho’s future

According to reports, Liverpool attacker Fabio Carvalho, a Portuguese midfielder, is anticipated to remain there for the 2024–2025 season.
Based on Fabio Carvalho’s outstanding loan stint, Liverpool has decided what to do with him going forward, according to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider. The 21-year-old will participate in their preseason camp and have the opportunity to impress the new manager of Liverpool in order to gain a spot in the starting lineup.

Fabio Carvalho played for Fulham and rose through the ranks, becoming a well-known player there. In the summer of 2022, he moved to Liverpool as a result of his rise. The Portuguese youth international played very little in his debut season with the team.

Since it didn’t look well for him in the 2023–2024 season, the Reds sent him to RB Leipzig on loan. Sadly, he was not successful at the German club, and during the winter, he went back to his original team.

In the end, the young player signed a brief loan deal with Hull City in January that would last until the end of the campaign. The 21-year-old has significantly influenced the EFL Championship team. Eight goals has made its way into his net during his 17 appearances for them. Carvalho’s arrival has helped the Tigers significantly in their quest for a spot in the Championship play-offs.

Carvalho is someone Hull City would dearly love to have permanently, but they are unable to pay Liverpool to let him go. The parent club of the 21-year-old will welcome him back in the summer, and it appears that they have already decided what to do with him.

Because of his impressive performance during his loan in the EFL Championship, Liverpool wants him to join their starting lineup. The Reds will allow him to participate in the preseason camp and make an impression on the incoming manager.

He should play a significant role in the Reds’ starting lineup for the upcoming year. He will thus have the same chance as every other member of their team to make an impression on Liverpool’s incoming manager, possibly Ruben Amoim, and stay with the team.
