Williams made his choice after spending the previous weekend in Lexington. Everything went smoothly by all accounts, especially traveling to Keeneland with newly hired head coach Mark Pope, especially considering his dedication.

Williams still needs to formally withdraw from the 2024 NBA Draft, which is anticipated to happen, as it should be noted that he declared for the draft in order to test the system.

Williams, an English native originally from Nottingham, has spent the last four years performing at Drexel. 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks are his career averages.

Williams’ best season, statistically speaking, occurred in 2022–2023 when he averaged 13.7 points, 8.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 2.2 blocks, and 27.3 minutes per game as a junior.

In 22.9 minutes per game during the previous campaign, Williams averaged 12.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.8 blocks. He also recorded eight double-doubles. He can make 3s; in his 26 career attempts, he has made eight of them for a 30.8% success rate.
