CRYSTAL PALACE JOINS EINTRACHT FRANKFURT IN THE RACE TO SIGN PSG’S HUGO EKITIKÉ

According to L’Équipe, Crystal Palace are trying to rival Eintracht Frankfurt for the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Hugo Ekitiké (21).

PSG are trying to lure Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo-Muani (24) to the Parc des Princes whilst using the former Stade de Reims forward in the deal, but Ekitiké has rejected two contract offers from the Bundesliga club to date.

In the event that Ekitiké does not go to the Bundesliga, Crystal Palace as well as other Premier League clubs would like to bring the French U21 international to England. West Ham and Newcastle have also reportedly shown an interest in the 21-year-old in the past. The Eagles want to sign Ekitiké on a loan with an option to buy. The Frenchman would be interested in moving to the Premier League.

Les Parisiens‘ stance on sending Ekitike to the Premier League on loan with an option to buy remains unknown but a deal could be completed if the necessary conditions are met. As things stand, it appears PSG still want to use Ekitike in a part-exchange to bring French international Kolo-Muani to the French capital before the end of the transfer window.
