West Ham defender Ben Johnson is still undecided about his future despite receiving a contract offer from the London club. According to Sky Sports, Johnson, whose current deal with West Ham expires this summer, has turned down a new five-year contract.
The 24-year-old full-back is prioritizing increased playing time over a higher pay package as he looks for a new club this summer. Last season, Johnson made only 14 Premier League appearances, with David Moyes often favoring the more experienced Vladimir Coufal in the right-back position.
Although former Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui has taken over at West Ham, Johnson is still seeking assurances regarding his playing time before making a decision about his future.
