Bournemouth and USMNT midfielder Tyler Adams has reflected on his time at Leeds United last year, departing under bitter circumstances despite once being a fan favorite at Elland Road.

Leeds’ current stint in the Championship is one that came in quite unsavoury circumstances, off the back of some controversial transfers after relegation.

Two sought legal action to depart, both to Bournemouth in the summer window of 2023, as Tyler Adams jumped ship for £23million.

Despite the strained relationship from the fans’ perspective, the USMNT captain holds fond memories of his time at the club.

In an interview with the Daily Mail alongside Tim Howard, Adams expressed his surprise at the level of support he and the team received:

“It was a no-brainer. I honestly didn’t really know what I was getting myself into.

“When things are going well, it’s amazing – the best thing ever. But when things aren’t going well…”
