Top insider believes that the midfielder “has signed his contract at Chelsea.”

The transfer of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea has been finalized, as confirmed by top insider Nizaar Kinsella on Twitter. Dewsbury-Hall has signed his contract with Chelsea, and the announcement of the deal is imminent.

The transfer is reported to be around £30 million, which is considered reasonable compared to earlier speculation that suggested bids closer to £40 million. As part of the deal, Chelsea midfielder Michael Golding is expected to move to Leicester City for £5 million, though this transaction is separate from Dewsbury-Hall’s transfer.

Dewsbury-Hall played a crucial role in Leicester’s Championship-winning campaign and has also featured prominently in Brendan Rodgers’ side in the Conference League, along with accumulating 59 appearances in the Premier League.

We’ve discussed this signing several times now, but it raises some questions about the squad. Signing Dewsbury-Hall brings clear advantages: he plays in a position integral to new manager Enzo Maresca’s system, and having worked under him last year, he already understands the demands and expectations.
