Newcastle and Aston Villa “intentionally” want to sign a player; the Premier League pair “begin to move their pawns.”

Recently, reports from Italy suggested that Newcastle United is among the clubs interested in signing Federico Chiesa. However, Aston Villa and two other unnamed clubs have also entered the race for the Juventus player.

Chiesa, aged 26, is currently under contract with Juventus until 2025. Despite this, it remains uncertain where he will play next season. There have been no indications of contract renewal with the Serie A side, prompting several clubs to monitor his situation closely.

Newcastle, Aston Villa, Napoli, and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in signing Federico Chiesa, as per Tutto Juve. These four clubs have initiated discussions and are actively pursuing the attacking midfielder with the intention of securing his services. Juventus is said to be seeking a fee of at least €35 million for the Italian international.

Aston Villa is currently in negotiations with Juventus, with the possibility of selling Douglas Luiz and acquiring Weston McKennie and Samuel Iling-Junior as part of the deal, which could potentially facilitate the transfer.

Chiesa concluded the recently concluded season with impressive stats, tallying 10 goals and three assists from 37 matches.
