Norwich City is gearing up for a new chapter in the 2024/25 Championship season.
The previous season ended in disappointment for the club. Despite finishing fifth in the regular season, their promotion dreams were dashed by a 4-0 loss to Leeds United in the Championship play-off semi-finals.
This defeat led to the dismissal of manager David Wagner, who had been in charge at Carrow Road for 16 months.
In response, Norwich quickly appointed Johannes Hoff Thorup as the new manager. The 35-year-old Dane left his position at Nordsjaelland to sign a three-year contract with Norwich, securing his tenure until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Thorup’s mission is to steer the club back to the Premier League for the first time since the 2021/22 season.
Now, the focus turns to the cost of watching Norwich City under their new manager.
Season ticket prices for Norwich City have been announced. Fans are now purchasing their season tickets to secure their place at every home game for the upcoming season.
Unfortunately, these season tickets are not cheap. According to a Birmingham World report on the cheapest adult season tickets for all 24 Championship clubs in the 2024/25 season, the least expensive adult season ticket at Norwich costs £545.50.
Using this ticket to attend all 23 home league games would mean a cost of £23.72 per game.
Norwich’s season tickets are among the most expensive in the division. Only Middlesbrough (£574) and Sheffield Wednesday (£560) have higher prices for their cheapest adult season tickets.

Middlesbrough missed the play-offs last season and aim to improve, while Sheffield Wednesday narrowly avoided relegation and are looking to climb the table under Danny Rohl.
Norwich fans, after a promotion-challenging season, will be hoping for similar excitement to justify the cost of their season tickets. If not, Thorup’s position might soon be under scrutiny.
