Breaking: Georgia Bulldogs lose to FSU football as four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley chooses the latter.

It’s great to see Florida State picking up momentum in their 2025 recruiting class this summer. On Tuesday afternoon, four-star wide receiver CJ Wiley made a surprising decision, choosing the Seminoles over Georgia and LSU after exploring his options throughout June. His commitment marks the second pledge for Florida State in just two days.

This is a welcome surprise for Florida State, as they secured CJ Wiley’s commitment after hosting him for an official visit over the weekend. He becomes the first wide receiver to publicly join #Tribe25, showcasing head coach Mike Norvell’s recruiting prowess against Kirby Smart and Georgia.

Wiley is coming off a highly productive junior season at Milton High School, where he caught 68 passes for 1,473 yards and scored 14 touchdowns. His performance helped lead the team to a 13-2 record and a Georgia 7A State Championship victory over Walton High School.

CJ Wiley, standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 195 pounds, is ranked as the No. 136 overall prospect, the No. 15 wide receiver, and the No. 19 recruit in Georgia for the 2025 class by 247Sports.

Among the notable wide receivers in the class are five-star Kaliq Lockett, four-stars Vernell Brown, Daylan McCutcheon, Malik Clark, Dallas Wilson (committed to Oregon), and three-star Joshua Moore.

Florida State has also secured a commitment from top-100 defensive lineman Kevin Wynn early in the week. With six pledges so far in #Tribe25, their recruiting class currently ranks No. 63 in the country, with more additions expected to come.
